Weymouth Neighbourhood Plan
Weymouth Town Council is working with local communities to create a Neighbourhood Plan that will influence land use, development and protect what we value about Weymouth.
Through community engagement, the Weymouth Neighbourhood Plan group have identified five themes that the Weymouth community have said are important to them.
Our 5 themed surveys are now closed, and analysis has been conducted of the results.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to take part, whether that was by attending one of our community events or completing the online surveys.
The full consultation report from Dorset Coast Forum can be found in the Community Consultation Feedback section on this page. You can also read supporting documents provided by Weymouth Town Council based on their responses to the survey report.
These results, together with analysis from the Theme Groups, has been captured in a summary document ‘Key Findings and Messages’ which is part of the Community Consultation Feedback. In January Weymouth Town Council will be conducting a focused survey related to key questions arising from the summer survey and analysis in preparation for preparing the Draft Plan. This will be promoted through the Weymouth Town Council website.
We would like to know how important these themes are to you and how they can be developed to make our neighbourhoods happy, healthy and attractive places.
